Bruce Dowell has taught golfers in Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois for over 15 years. He began teaching at The Country Club of Paducah and has also taught at The Silos Golf Club and at the Gambit Golf Club in Vienna, Illinois. |
| His students range in skill level from pure beginners to playing professionals. Bruce encourages ladies and girls to take lessons as well. And he believes improvement starts with sound fundamentals and understanding what works and what doesn't work. Standard adult golf lessons last about 50 minutes and cost $40 per lesson or $160 for five lessons. 2010 lessons with Bruce will include the use of dual camera digital imagery with one of the best systems in golf, JC Video. Students can compare their golf swings against top tour professionals and get instant visual, verbal, and kinesthetic feedback. Junior golf lessons also last about 50 minutes and cost $40 per lesson or $200 for a series of six lessons. Junior golfers are taught with the future in mind. Junior students who play on their high school team are automatically entered into Operation State Tournament, Drake Creek's training program for high school golfers. Many of his junior golfers have gone on to enjoy success in the college ranks. If a junior has aspirations of playing college golf, then a plan is developed to reach that goal. Bruce will assist in creating a college golf resume, contacting college coaches, and doing the things to help a junior golfer become a great student athlete. |
